Hi there :)
If your local studio/gym doesn’t have any, Safeway should have them. They’ve had the other flavors for awhile, but from the looks of it, they just started carrying the chocolate flavor. I haven’t checked any other grocery stores. You should also check your local wholesale stores, like Costco. The chocolate Zico is pretty hard to find, so good luck and happy hunting :)
Hello!
If you handle temptation well, give it a go! A lot of my fellow yogis try to stay away from it because it’s an addiction just waiting to happen :P But oh, man…Zico’s chocolate coconut water is just…heavenly! I loooooove how there’s just a hint of chocolate and it doesn’t take away from the coconut flavor at all. Coconut water is good before and after yoga :D I love using coconut water in my smoothies, too ^__^
In light.
THE CASE OF THE EX
So…ex boyfriends, ex girlfriends, ex significant others- we learn from those past relationships, right? We eventually discover the reasons why they didn’t work out, or maybe we have yet to understand. Did we give the relationship too little? Did we give too much without reciprocation? Did we lack trust? Did we fail to be dedicated? What are some of the justifications? We assess ourselves, the others involved, and the relationships; and hopefully, we use what we’ve learned about them in our current relationships. However, before we jump right into a new one, we have to give ourselves some space or time, right? I mean, that’s what we tell ourselves, anyway. Don’t dwell on it, move on, give it some space, and when time deems it worthy, assess.
It’s the same with our practice and each asana. Every asana before NOW, is your ex now. Let it go. Let it go. Let it go. Let it be. No asana is the same and no asana will ever be the same as before or the next. Your posture now may have more or less balance than the previous. Your posture now may have a more controlled breath than tomorrow’s. Maybe right now, your side angle pose needs to be modified. Maybe the next one thirty seconds from now doesn’t have to be! Who knows? But when it’s done, let it go and put your full focus into the now. Don’t think about how you’ve lost balance while bringing that leg out for Utthita Hasta Padangustasana, extended hand-to-big-toe pose. Don’t think about finally getting that scorpion (YES! I. AM. A. BAD. ASS!). Why? Because they’re distractions and your posture now deserves all of you, just like your current relationships.
When your practice is over for the time-being and you want to recollect those moments when you’ve lost balance or kept balance, great! Do so, assess, and learn. Use it for fuel and inspiration for the next time. When you’re in that asana, though, every posture before now, is your ex. You can think about your ex later when cooking dinner, when you’re giving your body rest from the yoga :P
Success in a posture comes from presence in every thought, every feeling.
Namaste :D
It was yummy ^__^ Kale is so unbelievably healthy, but it has a spicier, more herbaceous taste than spinach. I tend to use more flavorful fruits in my smoothies when I incorporate kale, and definitely more agave. I juice more than I make smoothies, and so I like to use spinach more because of the piquantness of kale. Definitely try it! With smoothies, you certainly get all the nutrients because you’re using the entire plant, and not just extracting liquids out of it. Get crazy with it! :)
