One of the best things about yoga (if not THE best), is that after each practice, you really do grow and you really do transcend into a higher self. You become enlightened by your own abilities and the miracles of your amazing body. You learn, you discover a lot about yourself, and you gain a great deal of humility. When all of this radiates from ourselves, we put peace into our lives and into the lives of those around us.
Been craving some comfort food, so I made some :) Vegan mac and cheese, made with quinoa and corn pasta, with broccoli and cauliflower! Washing it down with home-brewed lemon iced tea :9
Dinner- kale and garbanzo bean soup, with Field Roast’s Mexican Chipotle vegan sausage for a kick. Serve with sprinkled nutritional yeast and maybe some garlic bread :D
My bomb ass dinner :) Pulled barbecue jackfruit tacos with peach parsley salsa in corn tortillas :9 Sooooo easy to make, guys! UUUNNNNFFF.
Dinner :) Vegan, gluten-free mac and cheese…well, I couldn’t find gluten-free macaroni pasta, so I used angel hair! I added baby portobello, broccoli, and cauliflower :D
Because sometimes you just crave something greasy and cheesy? Baked tomato slices with vegan
jalapeño garlic havarti cheese, sprinkled with pepper and dried basil :) Perfect alone or on your favorite bread, or in a wrap! Yummy.
My dinner is so fresh and so clean.
Romaine lettuce wraps with sliced zucchini cakes, super tasty tabouli, topped with vegan garlic aioli…sooooo good! Dessert? Sweet, sweet Hawaiian pineapples with some Coconut Bliss, and sprinkled with pieces of pineapple and coconut tea cookies…mmm mmm mmmm!
Can I have super powers just for today, so I can pop these in the oven and have them done in two seconds?! Yam fries coated with coconut oil, loads of cinnamon, and amber agave…om nom nom!
Big cheeeeeez and muscles. I’m waiting for my food to be done cooking, guys…so hungry :/ Tomorrow is Friday, Friday! Gonna get down on Friday (not really, more like wind down)! Oh, and I’m weeping so hard on the inside because I just found out I’m allergic to soy. Farewell, my tofu :(
When “Aunt Flow” comes into town for her monthly visit, make super hearty food and eat it while watching “Into the Wild” D;
Kale chips…brown and white basmati and wild rice cooked with roasted tomato and garlic…”hamburger” and mushroom gravy with spinach…and washing it down with iced lime tea.
I plan not to move tonight, as I will have a food baby keeping me down on my floor.
