One of the best things about yoga (if not THE best), is that after each practice, you really do grow and you really do transcend into a higher self. You become enlightened by your own abilities and the miracles of your amazing body. You learn, you discover a lot about yourself, and you gain a great deal of humility. When all of this radiates from ourselves, we put peace into our lives and into the lives of those around us.

Because I’ve been coming across this a lot lately…I wish women would stop worrying about getting muscular if they start doing yoga. Muscles are the sweet, sweet fruit of a dedicated yoga practice! I mean, muscles on a woman are SEXY. Sexy! This idea that women shouldn’t have muscles because they’ll look like men is sexist. This fear that women might get too muscular is utterly ridiculous and degrading. If a man ever, ever says anything negative about your muscles, drop him, honey! He’s probably threatened by your guns and can’t pull your trigger, anyway.
Muscles are earned, baby Get some. UNF.
