One of the best things about yoga (if not THE best), is that after each practice, you really do grow and you really do transcend into a higher self. You become enlightened by your own abilities and the miracles of your amazing body. You learn, you discover a lot about yourself, and you gain a great deal of humility. When all of this radiates from ourselves, we put peace into our lives and into the lives of those around us.
Proof that yogis come in all shapes and sizes, thank you :)

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN…

and
?
Well…not much. I’ve been asked this question so often that I thought I’d address it as a post. Some people may not even be aware of the fact that Yogitoes has a cheaper version of the popular Skidless Premium ones.
Yogitoes Skidless Premium: Heavier, providing more friction, and about $65. They can be purchased on the Yogitoes website, or at various yoga studios.
Fittoes by Yogitoes: Much lighter in fabric with the same silicone gripping beads, and about $40. They can be purchased at Sports Authority and various websites. I have not yet seen a studio selling them.
In conclusion, the choice between the two is really dependent on the person. I do own both kinds and have no problem with the Fittoes; however, I tend to use the Premium whenever I am practicing Bikram. You know how that goes :P
It is a great investment and it can be a helpful tool, but remember, you don’t HAVE to use a Yogitoes towel mat for your practice. Some people feel obligated to have one, but are reluctant to purchase one because they are on the pricey side. That is perfectly okay! All your practice needs is an open heart and mind, patience, determination, love, and fun!
“But most of all, enjoy your practice.”
Namaste! :D
